ENT, also known as Otolaryngology, is a medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect the ears, nose, and throat. ENT covers a wide range of issues, including hearing loss, sinus problems, voice disorders, and head and neck cancers.
It covers both medical and surgical aspects of the treatment of related conditions.

Ear Conditions:

  • Ear Infections:

    Bacterial or viral infections leading to ear pain, fever, and potential hearing problems.

  • Hearing Loss:

    Probable Conditions of hearing loss related to the outer or middle ear caused by Aging, exposure to noise or certain illnesses referred as conductive or sensorineural related to the inner ear or auditory nerve.

  • Tinnitus:

    A ringing or buzzing sound in the ears, often associated with hearing loss.

  • Vertigo:

    Inner ear related problem, that may cause a sensation of dizziness or spinning.

  • Eustachian tube dysfunction:

    A disorder of the tube connecting the middle ear to the throat, leading to ear pressure and infections.

  • Cholesteatoma:

    A growth developed in the middle ear that can leads to ear complications.

  • Ruptured eardrum:

    A tear in the eardrum, as an outcome of infection or injury.

Nose and Sinus Conditions::

  • Nasal Congestion:

    Nasal passage obstructions, caused by allergies, infections, or structural issues like a deviated septum.

  • Sinusitis:

    Inflammation or infection of the sinuses, causing pain, pressure, and congestion.

  • Nasal Polyps:

    Noncancerous growths in the nasal passages there by obstructing airflow.

  • Deviated Septum:

    A structural abnormality where the nasal septum (the wall dividing the nostrils) is off-centre, resulting in potential breathing difficulties and sinus problems.

Throat and Voice Conditions:

  • Tonsillitis:

    Inflammation of the tonsils, leading to sore throat, fever, and difficulty in swallowing.

  • Pharyngitis:

    An Inflammation of the pharynx (throat), resulting in painful sore throat.

  • Voice Disorders:

    Conditions of vocal cords, like vocal cord nodules, polyps, or paralysis, leading to changes in quality of or loss of voice.

  • Swallowing Problems:

    Growths, infections, or nerve issues. Leading to potential difficulty in swallowing.

  • Throat Cancer:

    Tumors in the throat.
