Cancer surgeries encompass a range of procedures aimed at treating or managing cancer. These include removing tumors, preventing cancer development, determining the extent of cancer spread, and alleviating symptoms. Different types of cancer surgeries have unique goals and techniques.
CHEMOTHERAPY
Chemotherapy is the treatment of cancer using drugs that target the disrupt of cell division and growth, thereby they effectively prevent cancer cells from multiplying and spreading.
It is a primary treatment, to shrink tumors before other treatments, or is used to eliminate remaining cancer cells after other therapies.
Chemotherapy can be administered in various ways, including intravenously (IV), injection, orally (pills), or topically (cream).
